What we collect

We collect the information you give us directly. When you request a quote or contact the agency, that includes your name, email address, phone number, and mailing address. When you ask us to quote a property, it also includes the property address, year built, prior claims history, prior coverage, and any rent roll or schedule you send.

If you upload documents — declarations pages, current policies, or supporting paperwork — we collect the contents of those documents, which typically include the named insured, property information, coverage limits, and premium.

We also collect limited technical information automatically, such as IP address, browser type, device type, and the pages you visit, used in aggregate to understand how the site is performing.

How we use it

We use your information to prepare and place quotes. It is entered into carrier rating portals to generate quotes, and where a market is accessed through a wholesale intermediary, your application data may be submitted to that wholesaler. We also use it to service coverage, respond to your questions, and meet our licensing and recordkeeping obligations as a New Jersey-licensed insurance producer. We do not sell your personal information.

Who we share it with

We share your information only as needed to quote or bind coverage: with the carrier rating portals we quote through, and with the wholesale intermediary handling an application where a market is accessed that way. We also use service providers who help us operate the site and deliver communications; they are contractually bound to keep your information confidential and may not use it for any other purpose. Your information is never shared with other agents in the Crazy Rich Agents network. We do not share it for any other purpose, except as required by law or regulation.

Text messages

Program description. NJ Landlord Center sends text messages to people who provide a mobile number and expressly opt in — through a form on this site, in writing, or verbally during a call or meeting. Messages may include follow-up on your quote request, appointment reminders, updates on an application or policy in progress, certificate and renewal notices, and occasional service or promotional messages about landlord insurance.

Consent is not a condition of purchase. You are not required to agree to receive text messages in order to get a quote or place coverage with us.

Message frequency and cost. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. We do not charge for the messages you receive; your mobile carrier's standard rates apply. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Opt out. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you send STOP we will send one confirmation message, and you will receive no further texts unless you opt in again. You may also opt out by emailing support@njlandlordcenter.com or calling 908-824-0948.

Mobile information is never shared for marketing. No mobile information will be sold, rented, or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Mobile opt-in data and consent are never shared with any third party. Information may be shared only with subcontractors who directly support our messaging program, such as our SMS platform provider, and those parties are prohibited from using it for any other purpose.

Age restriction. You must be 18 years of age or older to use this text messaging service.

Cookies, analytics & tracking

This site uses essential cookies needed for it to function properly, and first-party analytics that count visits, traffic sources, device types, and page views in aggregate so we can see how the site is performing. We do not use advertising pixels, we do not track you across other websites, and we do not sell or share your information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You can adjust your browser settings to refuse cookies, though some features may not function properly.

Data retention & security

We retain records for as long as needed to service your policies and satisfy legal, regulatory, and recordkeeping requirements, then dispose of them securely. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information in our care. No online transmission or storage system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your rights

You may ask us at any time to access, correct, update, or delete the personal information we hold about you, subject to our recordkeeping obligations as a licensed insurance producer. Email support@njlandlordcenter.com or call 908-824-0948 and we will respond within a reasonable time.

You can unsubscribe from marketing emails using the link at the bottom of any email. You can stop text messages at any time by replying STOP. Opting out or requesting deletion does not affect the lawfulness of how we used your information before the request, and we may keep records we are required by law or regulation to retain.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a revised date at the top. Your continued use of the site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
